Repairs 

Terms & Conditions 

 Repairs are guaranteed for 6 months from the date of collection.

The precise nature of the repair will be recorded and the customer informed of any risks involved the execution of the repairs. A repair of this nature will only be executed at the customers liability.

In the event of a repair, only the repair itself is guaranteed. We will accept no responsibility for consequential damage or work not expressly carried out by THOMAS or its agents, or instructed by the customer.

Articles not hallmarked are only accepted at the customers liability and are repaired in good faith.

 Diamonds, unless accompanied by a certificate will be regarded as 'white stones' and THOMAS accepts no responsibility for treated stones whatsoever. 

Any customer returning a repair within the 6 month guarantee period must have a valid dated receipt detailing the nature of the original repair.

Please be aware that depending on how busy the workshop is, some repairs may be sent away. If this is not acceptable we are unable to accept the repair.

A repair may cause localised discolouration. Where possible we will try and retain the object to its original state but where the patina is a result of natural ageing process this may not be possible.

Customers will be advised their article is ready for collection if expressed on deposit. A hallmarking service can only be guaranteed on metal supplied by THOMAS. The maximum liability for a repair accepted shall be no more than its replacement value where commercially available. 

Any quote given is valid for the day of issue only. Repairs will be carried out unless advised within 4 weeks where reasonably possible. If due to unseen circumstances this is not possible, THOMAS will be liable for breach of contract. A repair may be refused at any time and returned to the customer in the condition it was deposited. A copy of these terms and conditions is available on request.

The customers signature on deposit of the article is regarded as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
